Sharing	You get one static (always the same) IP (Internet Protocol) address. There is no additional charge to let more than one computer use that IP. To share a connection you must purchase and provide your own network switch or use the wireless connection built into the DSL router (802.11b and 802.11g wireless standards). If you need more than one Static IP address you can lease blocks of them from ipHouse for an additional fee.	Cable modem service is tied to a specific computer so you cannot share the connection. (This also means if you change computers, you must contact your service provider.) For a fee you can purchase additional IPs.
Sign-up To get the discount you must sign up through the UMart website.	To sign up for service, please visit ipHouse or Velocity. You also have the option of calling Qwest directly at 1-800-348-1688 to order Qwest DSL service and equipment yourself and select ipHouse or Velocity as your ISP at that time.	If you are a new subscriber or already have Comcast High Speed Internet service, you can sign up for the UM discount via the UMart Website. If you have a change in service with Comcast (such as moving residences) make sure to sign up again through UMart, as your discount will not be transferred automatically.
